Cordedrago produces strings in lamb gut according to traditional twisting methods, to guarantee the performer of ancient music a perfect timbral rendition of the original sonorities, as well as, of course, an incomparable softness of sound and a great richness of harmonics even in low strings.
The Cordedrago strings have all the typologies in use in medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and romantic music, up to the middle of the 20th century, when the introduction of nylon and non-traditional metals and materials interrupts the tradition of historical corderia: these last strings they are excluded from our production.
